You need to start with the simplest but most important thing, fill the flask with water or another liquid, on the basis of which you want to smoke your first delicious hookah. We strongly recommend using only water, and you should immediately refuse milk or, especially, alcoholic drinks, as such a hookah will give you a headache, you will experience unpleasant sensations and smoking a hookah will become a burden for you. But let's not talk about the unpleasant, let's move on to the next points, we are making a delicious hookah. A few technical points ...

The correct water level in the flask
The optimal water level in the flask for a hookah is when the shaft or the lower immersion part of the hookah is lowered into it no more than 3 cm, a discrepancy of 1 cm is allowed in one direction or another, depending on what kind of draft you want to get when smoking. If the level is less than 3 cm, the draft will be easier, if more, the draft will be tighter. Do not pour water into the flask, this will lead to the fact that when blowing or smoking, your bowl and coals will be flooded with water and you will have to repack the hookah again.

Again about the same thing. From a slightly different angle.

Many people on the forum have at one time or another had the idea of turning a hookah for themselves.
The wider the market, the fewer such thoughts, but the situation with exchange rates and the lack of a truly good hookah that suits all parameters on the market makes me think about it again.

It so happened that I have a friend who is a turner, ready to take on the job.
Cutters and all that hardware - in abundance and abundance.

So far we are talking about a trial copy, with subsequent production of a small batch of 10 pieces.
Sale, if there is any, will be a very limited edition.

I am not saying that I will roll out "from Igoryan" on the market in a month, but I am interested in the opinion of the collective mind about a good hookah specifically for myself. Therefore, I ask you, comrades:
what material would you like? Stainless steel, surgical steel, copper, brass, maybe some other alloys? Height, diameters? I regularly come across arguments about the taste transfer of both wide and tall hookahs and short and narrow ones. The shape of the shaft? The presence of a saucer? Color?

Ideally, those who are technically savvy, write and draw. You will be rewarded =P
Or tell us what you like and what you don’t like about your own hookahs, no matter what they are.
Let’s try to imagine a collective image of an ideal hookah.

I see it all something like this:
material - only stainless steel or surgical steel
color - polished metal, I am satisfied with the appearance and no worries about the fact that OH GOD THE PAINT IS PEELING OFF MY *** for ****u.e.!!! 11111
height - the shaft itself is no higher than 60 cm, a diffuser built into the shaft is a must
saucer - small, possibly even non-removable
section 10-11 mm in all places of the shaft.
the shape of the shaft - take inox as a basis, simply because of the ease of processing
connections - threaded, collapsible
price - no more than 8-10k. Better 8, and even better - even less.

P.S. I can promise to raffle off one shaft from the first batch on the forum, and bring a test one for smoking, if the whole thing takes off.
