I tried pushing the hose in harder, but there was still smoke leaking from the connection. Even with rubber gaskets and washable plastic hoses, 100% airtightness cannot be achieved.

In the absence of a rubber gasket, I temporarily solved the problem by using foil tape, although it doesn't look very elegant. Be careful not to use the same tape, as the glue will gradually lose its effectiveness and become difficult to remove.
Of course, the easiest way is to roll half-inch-wide aluminum foil into strips, and then wrap several layers with wet paper towels. This can form a relatively perfect air-tight effect. Because I found during the production process that if using aluminum foil The sealing effect is actually very bad
if you have elastic rubber stoppers or silicone glue at home, you can also use them to seal the hookah band. Just cut the rubber stopper to a suitable size, insert it between the hose and the mouth of the bottle, and then secure it with a few circles of tape around the outside to form an airtight layer that isolates the air. If you don’t have rubber stoppers, you can also directly wrap several layers of tape around the connection. Make sure the tape is wrapped very tightly with no gaps. Once the tape is fixed, gently pull on the hose with your hand and check if there are any air leaks at the connection.
