How to Pack a Shisha Bowl
So the first thing we need to do is to pack the shisha bowl. Here I chose my favorite ceramic shisha bowl. Isn’t it very exquisite? I asked my friend to buy it from China. This is a traditional style funnel bowl because I don’t like messing around with complicated hookah designs and if they break it will stop our hookah from working properly.
I used to use a Khalil Mamoon hookah bowl a few years ago, but it has become very worn out. It’s probably the worst bowl ever. I’m just joking guys of course, The design is already preventing me from using it properly, so anyway, let’s get started showing how to pack a hookah bowl

First we need to cut the weed buds into small pieces. This will help us increase the contact surface area and allow for better airflow, but many cannabis enthusiasts around me do not like grinding weed, which is not useful for us smoking weed. There is no benefit in knowing that when you add it to a shisha pipe, large pieces of weed make it difficult to get an even grill and therefore tend to cause parts to burn, here you can think of the shisha as a vaporizer as you Inhale the steam from it without burning anything, so I usually grind the marijuana evenly and put it into the hookah pipe. Now I want to personally show you how I usually handle the weed. Here I use my buddy -Weed grinder, you only need to put the cannabis into it and then gently rotate the weed to grind it easily. So what we have to do next is to gently spread the ground weed on top of the hookah tobacco. If If your hookah tobacco is very wet, you may need to dry it a little with a paper towel
The best ratio for a homogeneous mixture of tobacco and cannabis here is 70% tobacco to 30% weed.
Next we need to lightly spread the weed into the shisha bowl, but please don’t spread it too much, if you spread it too much you won’t let any air flow through the holes, don’t push it down. It should be just below the rim of the bowl.
Form a slight mound shape on top of the bowl’s contents, but do not compact it. This allows ample airflow to feed the coal.

The second step of smoking weed is to spread the coal evenly on the Hookah bowl.
we don’t have time to waste, so I have prepared these coals in advance, here I use Cocobrico, it is my favorite brand, because they all use natural coconut shells as media, No chemical ingredients are added so the smoke produced is rich in aroma and very pure, okay now we take out the three coals, this is something I highly recommend.
Light hookah
First I went and got some foil, I put it on top of your bowl and then I used toothpicks and earrings and stuff like that to prick it, just like this picture below
Connect the pipe. Carefully connect the cigarette butt to the lower section of the pipe and place it on the cigarette holder. Ensure the seal is tight to prevent air leakage.
Heat the charcoal thoroughly. Use special hookah charcoal and burn it until white ash appears on the surface
Then just put the burning hookah media into the cigarette butt. If there is too much greasy dirt at the bottom, we just need to wipe it off with a paper towel.
Add more hot coals as needed to maintain temperature. Typically a round of coals lasts 30-60 minutes.
